Social Media Terms of Use

NETIQUETTE POLICY

We believe social media is a powerful tool for productive conversations with our community about upcoming events, news and general information.

We wish to encourage this type of communication among all users, but to keep conversations engaging and respectful, we follow some principles that we apply to all our social media platforms:

  • We don’t accept content that’s illegal, inappropriate, obscene, offensive, defamatory, threatening or abusive—this is just plain rude.
  • We don’t accept chain letters, pyramid schemes, or fraudulent or deceptive messages—we’re authentic, not dishonest.
  • We refuse spam—no one has time for this.
  • Infringement of copyright or trademarks is prohibited.
  • We’re conscious of “all caps”—in some cases on the Web it’s like YELLING and can be unpleasant. If you’re YELLING, we may remove your post.
  • Like anyone, we appreciate a good debate, but we don’t tolerate personal attacks, vulgar language or quarrels with other members of the community. This includes racist or sexist comments.
  • If you’re posting images and videos on our social media channels (by private message or by posting on our pages) or your post includes #snowgroomers, or @snowgroomers, we’ll assume you want to share your experiences. We’re here to help you do that, so we’ll happily distribute your content throughout our network subject to our User Generated Content Terms of Use.

Given the above, we reserve the right to delete comments expressed on our social media pages if these general principles aren’t respected.
